Dress Appropriately: Arm Warmers, Long Sleeves, Wind Breakers, Sleeveless Vest, Knee Warmers and Over socks are all in season depending on the weather where you live. Layer your cycling wardrobe to be warmer and protected.

Arm and knee warmers are usually made from lycra fabric and offer warmth and protection from cold weather. These are a very affordable accessory to help you take on the cooler weather and come in a variety of colors and patterns to suit you.

Sleeveless vests and windbreakers are a great way to protect your body from rain and wind chill. These are not too expensive and you find many colors.

Over socks is a great way to keep your feet warm and clean on rides. These fit over your shoes to protect cold air from getting inside of vents in the shoes, as well as keeping them clean on rainy and muddy rides.

Stay Visible! During autumn, the day comes later, and the night comes sooner, so make sure you are always visible. Wear reflectors, bright clothing, be noticeable. If it’s raining, or dreary out, be sure to wear something bright and florescent and wear reflective gear.

Always Wear Your Helmet! This could be life saving! Always wear your helmet to protect your head in any kind of accident or injury. Keep your head safe.
