As part of its commitment to the United Nations’ Sustainability Development Goals, specifically Goal 13 that focuses on climate action, Globe Express Services (GES) has announced that it is widening its greenhouse gas (GHG) audit to cover its major facilities worldwide.
GES has been tapping the expertise of environmental advisory services firm V4 Advisors since 2013 mainly to monitor, evaluate, and report the GHG emissions of its facilities and warehouses. V4 Advisors uses its certified Corporate Greenhouse Gas Calculator tool, with the ‘Built on GHG Protocol’ mark. The tool is the world’s highly trusted greenhouse gas accounting standards
With this latest development, the GHG audit will cover the company’s facilities in the Middle Eastern states, the United States, China, and European nations.
