I am honored to represent the country at IRENA. On behalf of the UAE, I pledge to advance IRENA’s mission to spearhead the use of renewable energy across the globe.”

Abu Dhabi has been home to IRENA since the Agency’s establishment in 2009. IRENA is the first full-fledged intergovernmental entity dedicated to the advancement of renewable energy, and the first and only international organization with headquarters in the Middle East. The Agency provides practical advice and support to developed and developing countries wishing to step up efforts to adopt renewable energy. Furthermore, it serves as a platform for international cooperation and as a knowledge hub for renewable energy.
