Dubai Chamber of Commerce, one of the three chambers operating under the umbrella of Dubai Chambers, has awarded its Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Label to 56 companies in recognition of their commitment to responsible business practices and advancing corporate sustainability.

Hotpack, the UAE-based global leader in sustainable packaging solutions, has been awarded the Dubai Chamber of Commerce ESG Label in the Advanced category, achieving an outstanding overall score of 87 per cent in the Chamber’s comprehensive Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) assessment, which evaluates companies on sustainability performance, ethical governance, and social responsibility. This score is considered to be among the best performances.

Under the patronage of Sheikh Zayed bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, and under the supervision of Sustainable Future Initiative with the participation of the Authority of Social Contribution – Ma’an, the first Guinness World Record was achieved through the 'Beneath the Blue – Underwater Cleanup' initative, with 307 divers taking part in the largest seabed clean-up carried out across two sites, Al Taweelah and Al Zahiyah in the emirate of Abu Dhabi.

At the 44th Sharjah International Book Fair (SIBF), three leading environmental voices underscored that climate change is no longer a distant concern but a direct and growing threat to the world’s food and water security.
