Emirates Global Aluminium, the largest industrial company in the United Arab Emirates outside oil and gas, has partnered with beverage can-makers Crown and CANPACK to launch Every Can Counts, an innovative campaign that aims to encourage consumers to recycle used aluminium drink cans, boosting the circular economy and reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
Her Excellency Hana Saif Al Suwaidi, Chairperson of the Environment and Protected Areas Authority in Sharjah, witnessed the closing ceremony of the 2024 (My Green Environment is My Future) initiative, which included the honoring of 12 winning public and private schools, and which saw the participation of 190 public and private schools from various Emirates of the UAE.
