Aluminium Bahrain B.S.C. (Alba), the Bahrain-based international aluminium smelter, promoted recently Masood Toorani to Manager Carbon 1&2.
Masood joined Alba as a trainee Senior Operator in Paste Plant 2 as part of Line 4 expansion. In 2012, he was promoted to Senior Superintendent in Carbon Operations, followed by his recent promotion to Manager Carbon 1&2.
Speaking on this occasion, Alba’s Chief Executive Officer Tim Murray said:

Masood proved to be an example of resilience for taking new challenges and turning them into opportunities, and I am confident that he will capitalize on his experience to improve the efficiency of our Carbon plants.”
Masood holds a Bachelor Degree with Honours in Mechanical Engineering from Huddersfield University, UK, and he is currently pursuing his MBA from De Paul University, Chicago, USA.
