Wildflower Poke & More is a catering service located in Dubai Studio City. You can visit their website here and order takeaway or have the food delivered to your doorstep. Basically, they are a no-contact food enterprise. With that said, the recent additions to the Krush Brands Group that include Coco Yogo Vegan Kitchen and Freedom pizza are revolutionizing the way they approach sustainable development with the establishment of Wildflower Sustainable Earth Collective.

This is a new way to inspire the UAE communities to make conscious decisions about sustainability, and to alleviate externalities both locally and globally. It is based on the idea of bringing everyone together so make small changes that become significant if all the changes are clustered together for an overall perspective. Therefore, why not celebrate the occasion by ordering flowers to mark the inception of a sustainable future.

Freedom Pizza emphasizes on the getting rid of plastic straws and cutlery from all the incoming orders. They have been doing it since February 2018. This was an industry first that gained public attention and received phenomenal feedback. This further inspired other food outlets to do the same. In order to build more momentum, Freedom Pizza and Wildflower will work in conjunction with a local organization called AZRAQ to amplify they #UselessUtensils campaign. AZRAQ is a non-profit organization that voluntarily focuses on marine life preservation.

This initiative began on 5th May 2019, with collaboration with many schools in the region. This was to encourage the masses to dispose of plastic cutlery through an accessible recycling agent. Customers of Wildflower and Freedom pizza can handover plastic cutlery they have lying around the house, and do not need anymore. The Freedom Delivery Drivers are empowered to collect such items when they deliver an order, or utilize in-store drop off points.

To take it a step further, Wildflower will stock Zero Waste Kits which can be bought within the app, which primarily consists of cutlery made from bamboo, a straw also made of bamboo, and reusable cups for both cold and hot drinks.

Such emerging sustainable goals have inspired the director of culinary for Krush brands, Chef Justin Snyder, to research and source packaging that are eco-friendly and also that serves operational requirements of food that will be delivered. The packaging materials are mostly a blend of Bagasse, and compostable polylactic acid (PLA). They are sugarcane by-products which are considered to be eco-friendly.

After the acquisition of Coco Yogo Vegan Kitchen, Wildflower was the recent addition to Krush Brands Group. Their vision of Wildflower Poke & More comprises a bold move towards health, safety and sustainability. At the same time, they also focus on eliminating as much waste as possible but maximizing utility at the same time though newly developed cutlery which has little or no environmental consequence.

“Powered by Freedom,” Wildflower Poke & More customers will now enjoy a new way of experiencing a slick, yet a simple online ordering process through the use of proprietary technology and applications governed by Freedom. Delivery will be fast and safe from the Freedom’s professional delivery team.

Final Thoughts

Sustainable Growth is what will make the possibilities of higher profits more achievable. By focusing less on cutlery and providing reusable utensils made from eco-friendly materials, not only will the company cut down on costs but also revolutionize its public relations and image for being an integral part of saving society from pollution and waste.
