The announcement was made during an honoring ceremony that was organized virtually via the Internet in line with the precautionary and preventive measures, in the presence of several managers and employees of the Union Coop, as well as senior officials of other local institutions and companies.

Commenting on Union Coop’s 9th consecutive Dubai Chamber CSR Label honor, Dr. Suhail Al Bastaki – the Director of Happiness & Marketing Department said that Community contribution makes the core of Union Coop’s belief system and winning the Dubai Chamber CSR Label for the 9th consecutive year demonstrates the performance of Union Coop as a National economic entity, which makes effective community contribution with high goals and tangible performance indicators to meet the aspirations of our kind and wise leadership.

It is worth noting that the Dubai Chamber CSR Label is a diagnostic and development tool for companies to implement responsible/ethical business practices, as the brand allows them to discover shortcomings and strengths in their strategy, to manage the effects of their business activity on the environment and society. The Label can also be used to conduct an internal review of the responsible social policies applied in the company, and to evaluate and develop performance in all aspects.
