On Saturday, the 26th of March, Vero Restaurant at Hilton Dubai Jumeirah, invites guests to commemorate Earth Hour with a special unplugged dinner in the dark. To shine a light on climate change, the restaurant will be enclosed in darkness with only candles lit around the venue at exactly 6:30 pm. Throughout the event, guests will be serenaded with an acoustic guitar to set a romantic atmosphere.

The sustainable spread will feature an Amalfi Coast-inspired à la carte menu, including an exclusive range of house beverages that feature environment-friendly drinks. Vero’s zero-waste cocktails will be displayed on a menu consisting of seed paper, which guests can plant and grow into beautiful flowers when they go home.

Vero’s expert team thought of creative ways to incorporate fruit scraps from lemons, pineapples and watermelon into refreshing, eco-friendly drinks. The five beverages to be served in the evening include Pineapple Spritz, Bio Spritz, Wasted Watermelon Spritz, Eco Spirit & Tonic, and Ricordo Caprese. Diners will be able to delightfully sip on their cocktails with sustainable pasta straws as another nod to the observation of the fight for environmental awareness.

Vero Restaurant supports Hilton Dubai Jumeirah’s commitment to preserving the environment – one of the three pillars of Hilton’s overarching sustainability strategy – ‘Travel with Purpose’.

Experience this one-of-a-kind night out at the charming Italian restaurant, Vero. Guests are encouraged to book their tables early to ensure availability.
